Derwiser India successfully delivered a high-performance structured cabling network for a Central Government Transportation Project Headquarters at Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
Planned as the Headquarters of the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd. (DFCCIL), the complex was designed with modern green building concepts, targeting a GRIHA 5-Star Rating and spanning approximately 19,741 sqm of built-up area.
Project Requirements
The DPR outlined stringent expectations for reliable and high-speed data connectivity, featuring:
- Dedicated OFC backbone with multitube construction
- 96-core OFC (6 cores per tube) with advanced crush and tensile strength protection
- 100G backbone performance for enterprise-grade data transmission
On the Ethernet copper side, every endpoint was expected to deliver 10G performance with PoE Type 4 (up to 100W) for a 100-meter reach.
The structured cabling was designed to support:
- Data connectivity up to user stations
- Rack-to-rack links for the Data Centre
- CCTV surveillance
- Wi-Fi and Access Control systems
- IP Telephony
- FAPA & BMS systems

Derwiser Solutions
- 2,50,000 meters of CAT6A U/UTP 10G LSZH cables were deployed, ensuring seamless and stable connectivity for 4,200 data points — with zero post-installation issues and excellent signal headroom.
- Customized color-coded patch cords and I/Os simplified identification, maintenance, and future network modifications, offering a future-proof cabling architecture.
OFC Backbone Design
Derwiser’s team engineered a customized OFC solution featuring:
- GEL-FREE, TIGHT BUFFER, FR-LSZH vertical flame-retardant cables (IEC 60332-3-22 compliant) for floor-to-floor connectivity
- UV-resistant, multitube HDPE-sheathed, high-tensile OFC for inter-building links
- Ultra-low-loss fiber cores to ensure maximum data throughput
At the last-mile, telescopic sliding LIUs were supplied fully loaded with adapters, pigtails, splice trays, and accessories.
Ultra-thin, spiral flexible armoured OFC patch cords were integrated for secure and flexible terminations.
Scope of Supply
Derwiser’s comprehensive delivery included:
- Aluminium Extruded Floor-Standing Racks for the Data Centre
- Wall-Mount Racks for floor distribution
- Outdoor IP65 Enclosures for CCTV external connectivity
